Engineering Physics Department Colloquium

Assistant Professor Ramathasan Thevamaran, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Department of Engineering Physics, will present two examples of structured materials—vertically aligned carbon nanotube (VACNT) foams and non-hermitian acoustic metamaterials—that have potential applications in controlling mechanical waves in extreme environments.
