Wood Heating Workshop

Wood energy stoves and boilers have changed considerable in the last 10 years. Scott Sanford, an UW Extension Agricultural Engineer and Energy Specialist will give a presentation on wood heating . The presentation will cover types of wood fuels, the basics of wood energy appliances and the high efficiency units that are available, how to choose the right one for your situation, changes in outdoor wood boilers and how to compare wood energy costs with propane or fuel oil costs.
