Dr. Jeffery F. Latkowski, Senior Vice President of Innovation at TerraPower. TerraPower recognizes that there is a need for a strong experimental and testing program. These efforts are essential to the development of any advanced reactor technology. Both ARC and non-ARC activities focus upon hardware and testing. A key facility, the Integrated Effects Test (IET), is the centerpiece of the ARC award. The IET will ultimately operate at approximately 4 MW and is scheduled to operate in 2019.
