Engineering Physics Department Colloquium

Dr. Igor Jovanovic, Department of Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences at the University of Michigan, will first review our research activities pertaining to detection of shielded special nuclear material using MeV-class monoenergetic photons produced in low-energy nuclear reactions and how eV-range optical photons from ultrafast lasers can be employed for standoff measurements.
