Description
This talk examines the role religion plays in three Hmong American texts, ultimately arguing that religion continues to be a central preoccupation in Hmong American identity and literature. This talk also provides a general survey of Hmong American literature and how Hmong writers are producing their own narratives rich with complex characters, speakers, and stories that represent and explore Hmong American experiences.
