Kenny Hoopla w/ Lucien Parker

Madison-based Kenny Hoopla is labelled a rapper by many, but might be more at home in rock than among other local hip-hop artists. His latest artistic direction, on tracks like "Waves," has leaned more toward rock than rap, borrowing an emo shell but subverting it with skillful vocal manipulation and idiosyncratic cadences. Lucien Parker is a hip-hop artist & songwriter from Minneapolis. His melodic flow and affinity for smooth, catchy hooks make for great songs that Lucien records, mixes and masters himself. He has earned placements on major blogs and playlists, toured nationally and is embarking on a fall tour around the Midwest to support his latest release, Chapter V: Tireless. True to the name of his project, Lucien Parker isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
