Description
Amazon Aurora is a relational OLTP database service offered as part of Amazon Web Services. Aurora is based on a novel cloud-native architecture consisting of the “upper” part of a database engine that pushes redo recovery down to a separate purpose-built, scale-out storage service. In this talk, we describe the details of the Aurora architecture and its design considerations.
