Through photos, books, clippings, personal journals and clinical articles from Ebling's Collections, Staggering Losses conveys a narrative of medical care, inclusion of women and people of color as participants & practitioners, trench warfare realities, impactful weaponry, and a virulent virus that wreaked havoc on the world's population. My goal is to bring renewed attention to the impact of WW1 on the health care landscape & to honor millions through the mention of a handful.
