The author of our community read, Making a Difference: My Fight for Native Rights and Social Justice, Ada Deer, will be hosting two virtual conversations over the next couple months. Ms. Deer is a member of the Menominee Tribe, a former faculty of the Sandra Rosenbaum School of Social Work, and was the first woman to head the US Bureau of Indian Affairs. Our first conversation will take place on November 4th at 3:00-4:15 PM, and is designed to provide background for the read. Please Register!
