Rejoice and Shout (2010) online screening

Don McGlynn   As part of Black History Month, we've collaborated with the Black Cultural Center here on UW-Madison's campus to bring you a free online screening of 2010's spectacular musical documentary, Rejoice and Shout. This is the first of two films that we will be making available for free viewing as part of Black History Month, so be sure to keep your eyes open for the second one the weekend of February 14th!  About Rejoice and Shout:  Through the words of clergy members and musicians, this documentary shows the deep connection between faith and gospel music. But this film is more than just a Christian testimonial; with insight provided by music legends like Smokey Robinson and Mavis Staples and copious doses of archival footage,  it explores the history of gospel.
