Healing from the Trauma of War

This project is deeply rooted in the needs of a rural community in El Salvador voiced from the members who recognize the mental health challenges resulting from the civil war in El Salvador. It also emanated from the 30-year relationship between communities in El Salvador and the US.

The presentation will consist of an overview of this project and suggestions for engaging in comparable culturally-responsive international initiatives. This will be a hybrid event — virtual and in-person.
