Exploring unpaid internships: Issues of access, equity, and learning

The program will feature researchers, career services professionals & analysts from across the nation who will be discussing new data on the prevalence of unpaid internships and the demographics of students taking them, challenges w/equity and access, & strategies for funding these positions via employers, philanthropy, or campus based initiatives. Three themes will be the focus of the discussion: new data on internships and compensation, working with employers, and strategies for change.
