A solo exhibition from Master of Fine Arts (MFA) graduate Derick Wycherly

Derick Wycherly (Chippewa Cree) is an artist, printmaker, and currently an MFA candidate at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Derick received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design with a concentration in Film/Animation/Video in 2011. His work considers how gift-giving connects people with one another and the land base they occupy. Derick’s Art has been exhibited nationally and internationally in Canada, France, and Japan. Derick’s fine art prints can be found in the collections of Kent State University and the University of Indiana– Bloomington Print Archives. Recently Derick was accepted to participate as an artist in Hand Papermaking’s Paper Portfolio #14, The Language of Color.
