Description
Patricia DeRepentigny is an ASP postdoctoral fellow at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in the Climate and Global Dynamics Laboratory. Her talk will discuss the variability in boreal biomass burning (BB) emissions and its influences on Arctic sea ice on multi-decadal time scales. Additionally, this talk will show preliminary results that suggest an important role of aerosol emissions, and not just BB emissions, on simulations of Arctic climate.
