Sarah Bang is a remote sensing scientist at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, Earth Science Branch. Her research focuses on the detection of severe convective phenomena using spaceborne platforms. In this talk, Dr. Bang will discuss the challenges of measuring severe hailstorms and the need for consistent global hail climatologies.
