AI: Tools & Teaching

We want to hear from you! Come learn — and share — how colleagues and students are using AI-tools. Talk about how you and your students have been trying out AI. Share an anecdote, story or experience. You can have up to 5 minutes of stage-time at the event (in person or on Zoom), or you can record a short video.

Share your experience (good or bad) with AI-tools (Google Form).

The ways in which we use and understand AI-tools are rapidly changing as we explore their functionality. But what are we doing with it here on our campus and in our disciplines? To gather answers that question, we’re trying something a little different at our Winter Retreat.

We’re giving YOU a forum to share what you’ve been trying, what’s working (or not), and how we might harness these tools in the future. You do not need to be an expert in AI. We are hoping to capture a variety of real experiences and perspectives, to give participants a chance to learn from one another through story-sharing.

Examples could include:

• How you’re using AI in student assignments.
• Ways of using AI in the classroom.
• Uses of AI for research or administrative work.
• Tools and uses emerging in your field.
• Frustrations, challenges and obstacles related to AI.
• Simply share an anecdote or experience!
