Measuring Change Readiness to Inform Impactful Action Planning
Presented by Crague Cook, service lead, Identity and Access Management, and Tomomi Imamura, enterprise cybersecurity architect, Division of Information Technology

Content level: introductory

Drawing on insights from UW’s Active Directory consolidation project, this session will address how to measure an organization’s readiness for change and facilitate smooth transitions during periods of change. The project team will discuss how they used the ADKAR (Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, and Reinforcement) change management framework and listening sessions to improve change readiness. You’ll gain a better (or new) understanding of the ADKAR framework and its application in measuring change readiness, as well as techniques for quantifying feedback from stakeholders to inform action planning.
