Division of Continuing Studies: Art

In this five-week class we focus on technical and conceptual methods of alla prima/plein air painting, completing a painting in one day. We paint from still lifes set up in class. As weather permits we also paint outdoors. In each session we address different painting problems and explore ways to solve them. We also explore color theory, drawing and design. Painting experience preferred but not required. Sundays, Sept. 27-Oct. 25, 10 am-4 p.m.
