Do you feel anxious when staring at a blank page? Do you lack confidence in the face of new and/or challenging writing assignments? Is a looming project deadline making you nervous? Sponsored by the Writing Center, the McBurney Disability Resource Center, and the Disability Cultural Center, this workshop provides a supportive environment for students to learn how to navigate their writing anxiety and build confidence with their writing. Participants will explore their writing processes, learn strategies for managing their writing anxiety, and develop techniques to communicate thoughtfully and strategically with their course instructors about their anxiety with writing projects.
