Ice Condition Notice: This year’s ice is extra slick, with little snow to cushion your step. Ice traction cleats, spikes, or any slip-proof gear are great ideas for the current conditions. Ice skates are welcome and available for rent at Outdoor UW. Ice travel is at your own risk. A once-a-year, can't-miss experience: Lady Liberty comes to Madison, Wisconsin. We are bringing out a to-scale, inflatable replica of the Statue of Liberty’s head to Library Mall as part of our winter-themed event series Winter Carnival. Make memories, enjoy dining options at nearby Memorial Union, and have an Instagram post everyone will be jealous of.
