Outdoor Explorer Series: Bushcraft and Survival

In this OES: Bushcraft and Survival class, you'll learn essential skills for thriving in the wild. Topics include fire-making techniques, shelter building, foraging for food and water, identifying plants and wildlife, navigation using a map and compass, and first aid for outdoor emergencies. You will also gain knowledge of survival tactics such as signaling for help, creating tools, and staying safe in various natural environments. This class emphasizes self-reliance, resourcefulness, and practical skills for wilderness survival. Upon completion of this class, participants will:
Understand how to survive with and without tools
Basic ideas of survival techniques and bushcraft skills
Find ways to practice some of these skills
