Student Labor Action Coalition Kickoff

SLAC, an affiliate of the national group United Students Against Sweatshops, is a group of students dedicated to fighting for social and economic justice for all working people. Learn about local worker justice struggles on our campus and in our community, conditions under which UW Bucky Badger apparel is produced, and most importantly, what you can do about it. Students in SLAC will speak about the work they do, and various invited speakers will talk about other issues in the community.
