Description
Exhibition dates: March 1 – April 1, Open Daily 7:30am - 5pm, Reception: Sunday, March 16, 2-4pm. Many of Bisson’s paintings feel like confessions. To make a confession is really a bid for intimacy. Bisson looks through the lens of his memories, relationships, communities, and culture at large. Most recently, he’s been exploring images of his hometown and the drinking culture that permeated in the area, influenced by artists such as Nicole Eisenman, Alice Neel, and Henry Taylor.
