Description
Reception: Friday, May 2, 5-8pm Throughout my childhood my father would often say this phrase as I walked out the door, which loosely means to “watch your back” or to “stay alert”, ultimately implying to always be on guard since we never know what to expect next. Through photography, video, textiles, printmaking and book arts, I engage with the meaning of Ponte Trucha and what I hold closest to my heart—my memories—and my fear of them fading as time passes.
