This presentation from Angie Lake, PhD candidate in Curriculum and Instruction, examines the development of Community-Engaged Scholarship (CES) in doctoral study, with attention to both preliminary dissertation planning and collaborative research with rural libraries. The discussion highlights how these experiences inform understandings and practices of CES and their role in shaping emerging scholarly trajectories. Angie will also discuss the CES graduate certificate/doctoral minor.
