This is a free, in-person talk is a part of the "Rocktober!" event, held on October 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM by the Sherman and Ruth Weiss Community Library! No registration is necessary to attend. This event is a part of the Wisconsin Science Festival!

Humans struggle to imagine the depths of time and the timing of geologic events that shaped our planet. Learn what the geologic time scale is, how it is created, and how we fit into it.
