Bridging the Divide

Event Details

Date
Wednesday, December 3, 2025
Time
6 p.m.
Description

Are you a student in the University of Wisconsin System? Do you want to have open, respectful conversations about politics with students who see things differently? Tired of social media outrage and wish you could connect face-to-face with people who challenge your perspectives and welcome you to challenge theirs? If so, we invite you to join us for the next monthly session of “Bridging the Divide.”

Each session brings together students with different political perspectives for regular small group conversations about current political issues. Rather than reaching a consensus, the goal is simply to increase engagement and understanding between people with different opinions.

Sessions take place on all four-year UW campuses. Each session is free, student-run, and includes lunch or dinner.
