Career Talk with David Radke: Professional Hockey Analytics at the Chicago Blackhawks

David Radke, a Senior Research Scientist at the Chicago Blackhawks, will visit UW-Madison on Thursday, October 30, and give a talk at 3:30 in Morgridge Hall. David will provide insight into how the Hockey Strategy and Analytics group at the Blackhawks operates. Specifically, he will discuss their tasks and goals at various points of the hockey season, the multifaceted focuses of sub-teams within the group, and various data types and data sources used in hockey analytics.
