Come explore the Great Town of the Sauk (and other archaeology below the streets of Sauk City) with Wisconsin Historical Society archaeologist Dr. Luther Leith! During the Spring and Summer of 2024 archaeologists from Museum Archaeology Program of the Wisconsin Historical Society monitored the South Water Street Reconstruction project in Sauk City, Wisconsin. During monitoring several features associated with the fabled 'Great Town of the Saukies' were encountered.
