Description

When was the last time you stepped back to assess your leadership journey?

The Information Technology Leadership Development (ITLD) Steering Committee invites you to an engaging virtual workshop dedicated entirely to you — your aspirations, your skills, and how those might fit into the way you think about your own professional story.

Event details

In this interactive virtual session, you'll hear from two of your colleagues about their leadership journeys, followed by guided activities to help you map your own leadership path.

  • Date: Tuesday, January 13
  • Time: Noon to 1pm CT, followed by 30 minutes for optional networking
  • Location: Microsoft Teams
  • Who: All UW–Madison IT professionals
  • Questions? Email the ITLD Steering Committee

What you'll do

You'll hear brief leadership stories from Laurel Belman, Event Manager in DoIT, and Anna Lewis, Associate Dean for Information Technology & Administration in UW Libraries, to inspire your own reflection.

Guided activities will help you:

  • Audit your journey. Trace your path to identify the pivotal moments that shaped your current style.
  • Uncover your hidden assets. Recognize the core skills and "quiet" practices that have driven your greatest successes.
  • Cut out the noise. Identify which habits are serving you — and which are holding you back.
