Description
Dr. Solis-Lemus will present recent work from her lab that explores robust inference across diverse biological systems, from molecular sequences to ecological soundscapes. She will discuss deep generative models that enable accurate ancestral protein reconstruction, how self-supervised learning can automatically detect and classify events, introduce a consensus microbiome network framework, and new advances in phylogenetic network inference.
