MadData is a data science hackathon where students work in teams to solve real-world problems using data-driven techniques. Participants may build machine learning models, perform statistical analysis, or develop business insights from data. The event takes place February 21–22, 2026 and is open to all UW–Madison students. No prior hackathon experience required.
