The 2026 Norman Fost Lecture on Skepticism and Critical Thinking is Feb. 19 from 7:30-8:30 a.m. via Zoom: Laine Ross, MD, PhD, University of Rochester, will present “The Promise and Perils of Newborn Sequencing.” Ross will offer an ethical analysis of newborn screening as a public health program and discuss the development of genomic sequencing. Continuing medical education credit will be available.
