Description
This talk explores how foundational community engagement (CE) creates the conditions for future Alzheimer's disease biomarker research thru partnerships with Hmong community organizations and stakeholders that build trust, culturally grounded education, and research infrastructure. I argue that CE is foundational science and creates the conditions for valid methods, ethical recruitment, and equitable findings. As such, CE should be recognized as a key early phase of the scientific pipeline.
