Community-engaged research requires meaningful engagement of and leadership from people with lived experiences of the phenomenon of study. This presentation discusses strategies to support (1) people with lived experiences navigating potential careers in research, and (2) researchers and their institutions to fund, hire, and support the research pathways of lived experience experts.
