Description
Reception: Thursday, March 19, 5-7pm. Rooted in autobiography using memory as a vehicle, Chase Bisson composes paintings drawn from his experiences in his rural hometown of Placerville, California, and the broader United States. Starting from photographs of his community or bits of poetry, the paintings and drawings combined with spoken word yield a type of confession to the audience in a bid for intimacy in an increasingly disconnected world.
