Join us for a talk by social media researcher and author, Renee DiResta. Her talk will examine how authenticity has displaced institutional authority as the primary credibility signal, why entertainment and lifestyle creators now shape policy understanding more than experts, and why institutional absence from online social spaces has real consequences. It asks what it would take for evidence-based institutions to show up where most Americans are now forming opinions. Lunch will be served at noon
