Exploring Collagraph Printing

Event Details

Date
Monday, July 13, 2026
Time
6-8 p.m.
Location
Studio G, Memorial Union
Description
Collagraphs are a fun way to explore texture through printmaking. No printmaking experience is necessary. Participants will learn about different methods of making textured plates with materials that are recycled ( cardboard, matte board, tetrapak) in order to make their plates in the first session. In the second session we will focus on printing the collagraph plates using intaglio inking, relief inking or combination of both and sending them through the printing press. We'll also examine how to hand color to collagraph prints by viewing some artist examples.
Cost
$100.00
