Description
Drypoint is an intaglio printmaking method that involves scratching an image into a plate with a pointed tool. We'll explore plastic containers as printmaking plates, how to clean and prepare the surface, use photos, artwork or other imagery as a guide and what types of household tools can be used to scratch into the plastic. After the plates we'll ink them up and print them using the printing press. Participants are asked to bring : clear plastic containers ( think produce containers) with a flat surface, imagery w/o words they would like to create a print from
