This is a free, in-person talk hosted on August 15, 2026 at 10:00 AM by Cambridge Community Library in Cambridge, WI. No registration necessary for this event. This talk will not be held virtually.

More than 450 million years ago a shallow tropical sea covered most of southern Wisconsin. In this talk we’ll look for evidence for this ancient sea in rocks from your backyard. Feel free to bring your favorite rock sample!
