Description
Roots Renegades is a five-piece strictly roots band based in Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin. Playing roots reggae, rocksteady, ska, and dub, the band delivers a powerful live experience rooted in the golden era of Jamaican music. The group has backed legendary artists including The Viceroys, Mama T, and Tony Brown — bringing an authentic foundation roots sound to stages across the Midwest. With tight rhythms, soulful melodies, and deep bass lines, Roots Renegades keeps the fire of reggae music burning bright — channeling the spirit of the originators while forging their own path forward. CRASHprez opens.
