Novelist, poet, and author of "Against the Machine: On the Unmaking of Humanity," Paul Kingsnorth explores the destructive consequences of the techno-industrial culture he calls "the Machine" and its true cost to Western civilization. Are we approaching a point at which the very meaning of the word "human" is in question--and, if so, what is the answer?
