Guest researcher Michael Lounsbury, University Alberta, will address how the formation of cultural identities differs with respect to emerging technology and and will focus on its relationship to the commercialization of university science, its impact on regional economic development and the impacts of such efforts on the universities themselves. He will discuss a case in the field of carbon nanotubes.
