UW-Madison Food Summit

Join campus experts who share one common interest -- the food we eat, where it comes from, how it is produced, and how it affects our health and our society. Former Senator George McGovern, who served as director of the Food for Peace Program and chair of the Senate Select Committee on Unmet Basic Needs, will provide the keynote address. Other topics include food culture, urban agriculture, food economics, food safety, UW discoveries and environmental impacts of food production.
