Description
A show “Passed but still Present: Icons of Black History” exhibits drawings by Stanley Sallay, a 26-year-old Madisonian who earned his HSED and several college credits while on probation. He says:
“My exhibit features icons in black history that have passed away but, in my opinion, will always be looked back on hundreds of years from now.” In 2006, Sallay started the UW-Madison Odyssey Project, a free humanities course for adults facing economic barriers to higher education.
