Continuing Studies

Learn all you need to turn a common melody into a fingerstyle guitar showpiece. Warm up with alternating bass, arpeggios, and accompaniment patterns, then add chords and melody from folk, ragtime, and country blues songs to build a complete guitar instrumental. Taught in standard notation and tablature. Students should know basic chords and melody playing. Bring your own acoustic guitar. February 5-April 7 (no class Mar 24)
