Description
Christy Hess, research assistant, Waisman Center, and Au.D. student, Department of Communicative Disorders. A growing body of research has used standardized tests to demonstrate that school-aged children with cochlear implants (CIs) do not perform as well as their normally hearing peers on measures of expressive language, receptive language and speech perception/discrimination skills.
