"How-to" descriptions for those who are new to ARIS, or Augmented Reality and Interactive Storytelling. ARIS, the brainchild of a research team at UW-Madison, is a tool for teachers to create mobile educational games. The ARIS team is working with a MacArthur Foundation grant. The challenges are designed to be fun and low-pressure. By integrating mobile computing and actual surroundings, the educational games help take teaching to a new place outside the classroom: "augmented reality."
