Connecting at Community College: Cyber Spaces and Other Spaces

This talk will focus on an ongoing study funded by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, entitled "Getting Connected: Harnessing the Power of Social Media Technology to Enhance Community College Student Success." This project implements social media plans in eight community college districts in an effort to measure and assess the potential for such approaches to increase student engagement, integration, retention, and attainment.
