Carlene Raper, Research Professor Emerita at the University of Vermont, will give a talk inspired by her recently published memoir, "Love, Sex and Mushrooms: Adventures of a Woman in Science," in which she chronicles her life in science studying the myriad ways of sexual reproduction in fungi. Her research started in collaboration with her late husband, John Raper, Harvard Professor of Biology. Registration for the symposium is now closed. The public is invited to hear Dr. Raper's talk.
